We’re excited to invite all members on a special fall adventure to Dudley Farm Historic State Park! Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 7, 2024, as we get a glimpse into Florida’s past and explore this beautifully preserved working farm.
We'll meet at 10 am at 18730 W. Newberry Road, Gainesville, FL 32669—rain or shine!
This trip is a wonderful opportunity to experience a late 19th-century working farm, complete with original buildings, heritage livestock, and even demonstrations of historical farming practices.
Admission is just $5 per vehicle.
One of the highlights we’re especially looking forward to is learning about the process of cane boiling. This time-honored tradition is fascinating to watch and brings a rich history to life. We hope this experience will help us prepare to use our very own cane pot, located on the historic settlement of Banana, Florida, in the future!
Don’t miss out on this unique chance to step back in time and enjoy a fun, educational day with fellow members. Bring your curiosity, your questions, and a spirit of adventure. We’ll see you at Dudley Farm!
